Since we collected the audio samples in Samburu last year, some of the biggest house and afro-house music producers have been hard at work crafting the Samburu vocals into their signature sound. With less than a month to go for the launch event and release of the VA, the compilation is looking and sounding very special.

ABAKISIMBA TROUPE - An LP recording with a 9 piece Kenyan percussion drum ensemble. Abakisimba Musical Troupe is an ensemble of percussionists, poets, musicians and dancers from different ethnic backgrounds. This, as well as their instrumentation, story, and compositions make them stand out; all their drums hail from various parts of Kenya, representing different tribes as a show of togetherness and anti tribalism in Kenya.
